    Hello All,

What is the maximum Ping limit where one is able to play Battle Bay?

Several people have opted for a check before a battle starts. Will that be hard to implement?

    Regards,
    Flint

As far as I know, there isn't a hard limit. It might be good to have the ping be a little more prominent though, in order to let people know "hey, you're on a particularly bad/crowded connection, so you'll need to lead your shots more."

Personally I played a bit from a 300ms hotel WiFi the other night. Downright painful, couldn't hit the broad side of a barn at range.

Maybe together with a Speedometer, so understand it better. Because a lot of people do not know what Ping means.

Lol, being in Australia, my ping is usually 320. Would love to know what's its like to play on a good connection.

Maybe that is because you are on the wrong side of the globe :D.

I had huges problems, interspeed of 0,35 mbs and the next minute it was 35 mbs. Now I have a new router with 5G it works very well. How come it does not work that well where you are? Is the internet just slow or are there other problems?

Distance. The Battle Bay servers are located in the USA, I believe on the East Coast, so the packets have a long way to travel. (And they all need to be flipped upside-down before they go to Australia. ;) )

There can be just enough lag between what you see, and what the server is actually doing that you end up shooting at something that is no longer there. It does help to lead your shots, but only if your target boat is moving in a straight line. (Note to self: never move in a straight line)
