Pet peeves

thread for general pet peeves.

My big one is when you're a fixer depositing repair boxes around the battlefield pre-engagement and a shooter (it's always a shooter) whips around snapping them up, not thinking "maybe I'll need this AFTER I've been hit".

 

Oh @ThirstySeal ... Doesn't this just really annoying the crap out of you?! I mean, we put them in places that are NOT it their way, but will be useful later on, and they collect them like it's going to give them extra health at the start!! Grrrrrrr

 

Well I have seen fixers throwing them right in front of me. I try to stop my ship but it still takes it since it's too late (can't drive under the box either before it falls down). This is annoying because I personally like having those boxes back at the start so I can run and claim them (if I manage to get back alive )

 

Having played around with speeder too, I've noticed it can be really hard to slow/stop in time, but a good fixer will place them AFTER the teammates have driven (floated? Coasted? Motored?) past where they wish to place them... Placement is critical... And awareness... These are a fixers priority and responsibility.. but I believe the OP is talking about those boats that go off course to collect said boxes crazy peoples!!

 

Yes, that kind of action is really driving me crazy when I get back from middle of the field and have recived damage that much I'm with only less than 10% of my health. No packets left to pick up and I'm gonna be dead in seconds after that when unfriend speeder chases me

 

Another one that gets me is when the shooters hang back behind you as a fixer, waiting for you to lead them into battle. That's not how it works! I can usually tell within 30 seconds of a game whether we're going to win or not by this behaviour.

 

When your team mates shoot the back of your boat at the start of the match. Its really annoying. Lol

 

Yes!! Like , c'mon guys, I'm the fixer, not speeder. I'm not supposed to be Cannon fodder, lol

 

I hate the ones who spam "together" then up and noob rush the middle or go out of their way to try and solo the whole other team

 

Tjen in chat yell at there teammates for not sticking by them....That sounds like the new player, chill... Lol.

 

Just had a battle where I was getting HAMMERED by the other team. Who's behind me (where he should be)? Fixer. What's he doing? Shooting. Who died? Both of us.
