Overboost tweek

    Apply the “tiny nitro” that happens when you trigger overboost to the direction of travel.
    When you are reversing and see a torp heading towards you, hitting overboost stops you for 1 sec as you lurch forward slightly, stop and start to reverse again.

    This was suggested in the sails thread I think, wasn’t changed. Great idea though and I completely think it should be this way

    Yeah it does but it always moves you forward which isn’t helpful when your reversing.

    I don't think overboost works in reverse does it? Can't say I've ever noticed a hastened reverse speed.

    +1 though as it's a major pain when I catch it and stall.

    Yes it does work in reverse, though the speed boost is proportional to your normal reverse speed. So if you have a slow reversing ship, the extra speed isn’t massive. But it’s great on enforcer.

    I’m really not sure why the OB needs that little forward bump when activated. It would be better without it.

    You'll have to untrain yourself one day, probably at mk5-mk6 levels. I've found OB on speeder to be integral in terms of reversing maneuvers.

    If the mini-nitro is so inconvenient how about they just remove that effect from the item.

    It’s an overboost...

    The overboost is already kind of overpowered in the way shields are, as it's almost necessary for yellow boats.
