And the only response you will get is "the buttons are on different sides of the 2 windows so we feel that is sufficient enough to stop accidental scrapping"

    I feel for you man.

There should be a warning for any item with a perk equipped, that is greater then level 1, or is epic or legendary.

Prevent scrapping of any item with a perk equipped -- Not too much to ask, and would prevent most of these situations.

Yay positive news. That's at least an improvement on the stance of "there is no issue, it's all the players fault".

Well we can't control misstaps or mistakes, but we can at least make it harder to make them :)

A bit late now bro, it would've helped if it was implemented from when the global launch was released. Even a separate storage that keeps items you want scrapped. I haven't touched the game since it happened & if there's anything you can do to get it back it would be greatly appreciated, but if you can't, you can't.

Sure, i mean if we had to choose, every feature would have been implemented at global launch, but we do not have unlimited resources and hence we have to go by what we think is important for the game and the effort required to make something when choosing what to make.

Personally, I think a little lock icon would be the way to go. So you can lock items you don't want to accidentally scrap or use for evolutions. It's a tried and tested system, and it would provide security, without adding unnecessary steps to scrapping.

Though, having said that, If you accidentally scrap a precious item through carelessness, then it's kind of your own fault. Coming here and trying to blame the devs is a dick move.

Your item, your mistake, you should own it.

We did own it if you care to read & when you say "through carelessness", well there are a few like :
    • having wet fingers can make you select a wrong item.
    • having your fingers that look like part of a male's anatomy.
    • wanting to scrap common items but having to do it one by one, so you try to delete them fast & ACCIDENTALLY select one of your nearly maxed items.
    • dropping your phone & picking it up while ACCIDENTALLY touching screen multiple times.
Those were just an example of ways to ACCIDENTALLY scrap items. Also i was wondering who came here blaming the devs ? I've read all the posts on this thread & NOBODY has blamed the devs, as we only blame ourselves while asking for help, or about a locking system to be put in place or a way not to ACCIDENTALLY scrap items.
So the only dick move here was yours.

So, you came here and asked for help. You got as positive response as it is possible to get, I.e. "It will be fixed in the next update". But did you say 'thank you'? No. Here is what you said...
If you tell someone it's too late, and they should have acted differently, then you are implying that they did something wrong, and the mistake was theirs.

But the mistake wasn't theirs, it was yours. Zeus said he'd try to improve it, so it can't happen again, but instead of thanking him, you threw it in his face, like a spoiled baby. That was a huge salty dick of a move.

Perhaps it was also 'dickish' of me to call you out on it. But, frankly, I thought your behaviour was incredibly disrespectful, to someone who is trying to help you, and you owe him an apology.
