New Weapon - Rocket Launcher!

So I have an idea for a new weapon called the rocket launcher. It is a 1 point item that fires a single projectile in a strait line (like the rail gun). The projectile is super slow, but deals damage in a large area once the projectile explodes. After players fire the weapon, they may choose to explode the rocket in mid air by pressing the fire button a second time. Otherwise, the rocket will explode on impact with a ship, terrain, or shipwreck.

Because the projectile can be detonated mid air, you will be able to deal damage to enemies behind walls or over waves, but it will take some skill to aim and explode the rocket at the right time.

Edit: What do you guys think the damage and Cooldown should be? And also, should there be any special perks for it besides damage?

Well maybe so, but we already have a lot of 2 slot items.

 

Yeah but i find it funny that a rocket launcher would be an 1 slot weapon. Is it an heavy weapon or?

 

Hmm true. I may be a little biased cuz I main enforcer, but now that I think about it it probably should be a 2 point weapon.

 

Really,I LOVE IT.

A long range weapon,similar to Railgun but deals splash damage. Sounds "COOL".
