New item ideas!!!

    Just a few item ideas I had.

    Orbital Strike - (Red Item) Ballpark mortar size aoe ring where rail gun lasers land randomly damaging unfriends that are hit. Slow moving flare fires in a mortar trajectory to mark the target area. Flare could be purple to match the lasers and avoid confusion with actual flare projectile. Long cool down.

    Laser - ( Red Item) Fire a continuous laser that requires line of sight on target. I'd say medium damage, range, duration, and cooldown. It's difficult to keep targets in line of sight for very long so it would primarily be a medium to short range weapon depending on the map and waves. Similar damage distance effect that is currently on rail gun, the closer the enemy is the less damage it does.

    Momentum Turbo - (Blue Item) This is more a suggestion to change current turbo. Turbo increases speed by percentage of your turbos max speed per second while moving and resets when you stop. Passive.

    Regenerative Defence - (Blue Item) Defence increases by set value for every second you take no damage up to 5 seconds. Defence amount increases with level. Passive.

    Intercooler - (Yellow Item) Decrease weapons (not repair items, sorry fixer) cooldown by a set amount. Amount increases with level. Activatable.

    Overheat - (Yellow Item) Bolt style projectile that adds duration to unfriends item/weapon cool downs for a set amount of time. Durations increase with level.

    Defence Booster - (Green Item) Boost the defence of an ally by a large amount. Does not stack, defence boost only negates damage from the next hit then the effect wears off and ship can be boosted again.
    Long cool down and an effect icon over the ship like stun, frost and burning icons. This could either have a duration that increases with level or defence boost could increase by level. Bolt style firing.

    Second Chance - ( Green Item ) Extremely small radius pulse that resurrects a fallen ally with a percentage of health. Percentage increases with item level. Ressurected allies can no longer be healed by fixer. Extremely long cool down.
    Icon over sunken friendlies that show whether they are spectating or not.

    With the possibility of new items being added post 4.0 I just wanted to revive these old ideas I had and add a few more.

    Ballistic Shield - (Blue Item) Think riot shield, instead of covering 360° like a Tesla Shield this would only protect 180°. You can swap it to protect either the front of your ship or the back. Everything has a downside right? Well for this the drawback comes by not being able to shoot the direction your shield is oriented in. This would require better manuevering skills to get the best effect.

    Leech - (Blue Item) This item allows you to convert any damage dealt into hp for your own ship!! It has an effective radius of course, maybe the size of a repair pulse. Any damage YOU do to a ship inside the radius will add that damage amount to your ships health. Great for Frontline Defenders or Sneaky Speeders.

    Barricade - (Blue or Yellow Item) This would be deployable cover, some sort of small floating wall that you can essentially hide behind. Could also be used to block narrow pathways. Has it's own separate hp, and a fairly long cool down but each player can only deploy one at a time.

    Decoy - (Yellow Item) Create a duplicate of your ship that is A.I. controlled. Simulates your health bar but one hit destroys it. Used to scout areas or as a distraction for a quick getaway. (This one may be too difficult to make)

    Stun Bomb - (Yellow Item) Similar to napalm but any ship in the AoE is stunned until they move out of the area. Water in the area is electrified with a cool visual effect. TARGETS WHO TAKE DAMAGE WHILE STILL IN THE AREA REMAIN STUNNED

    Corrosive Bolt - (Red Item) DoT weapon, can create combos with new weapons that are added. I'm thinking similar mechanics as the repair Bolt but with a much darker green. Corrosion can spread to other enemy ships that pass through a ship with this effect on it. A visual dark green cloud around ships hit by this.

    Remote Explosive- (Red Item) Fires a sticky explosive from a cannon that can be detonated at the users discretion. Fire a couple of these at an enemy and wait for his teammates to come in range then Kaboom!
    Or booby-trap a passage and wait for an unsuspecting enemy to enter before detonating your trap. Could be one big explosive or a clip of 5 smaller ones.

    LMAO!!
    It wouldn't be quite as extreme as the building in fortnight but I figured it might appeal to that crowd and it also adds some strategic value to players who care about that.
