Here are some suggestions..
I don't wanna go on about the agility buff issue too much. By now you'll know it was a massive failure and hopefully you have learnt your lesson. I and many others appreciate that it was modified soon after to a point where the game is playable again though. Bravo.
Now I can't speak on every weapon or ship here as I predominantly play one ship with a regular setup.
One issue I have noticed is with the missile launcher. It is an odd weapon as it is in a class of its own really.
A cannon, flare, carronade, gattling gun and railgun shoot straight and hit targets horizontally. The torps do what torps do and the mortars, fire bomb, napalm and grenade launcher land skill shots from above with a large blast radius.
The missile launcher is most similar to the latter but with a significantly smaller blast radius and more projectiles.
I come from a background of Dota 2 and other strategy games where a 2% buff/nerf to any given hero or item is a big deal.
This update was a perfect example of a company that likes to make games but doesn't know how to run them. You can't simply increase agility to all ships randomly then say "oh, its hard to land shots. Let's just increase the projectile speed for all weapons by 10%!" It doesn't work that way.
Every weapon has become slightly harder to use. Now you need to lead your blast or sniper cannon a little more. Same with mortars.
Missiles can't just be lead a little more. If you can't see the issue with increasing turning agility for all ships and its impact on specific weapons then I don't know what to tell you. It's a joke.
You can lead your sniper left or right slighty more to land a shot. You can't slightly lead a missile launcher left or right in the same way. Now that ships can turn twice as fast the missile launcher needs to be lead from left to right AND front to back.
You nerfed torps, missiles and arguably mortars all in one go and probably have no idea how..
You need to go back to the drawing board with this whole concept and figure out a way to accommodate all the weapon changes that coincidently took place with this update.
You do realise that you're creating a 'cannon shooter' meta, right?
Another "suggestion" would be towards the legendary perks in events.. Where is the consistency??? One perk I got was the flare gun -6% cooldown/+13% projectile speed and another mortar +12% frozen damage/+7.5% damage.
What the actual fk? The flare perk is less useful than a chocolate teapot and the mortar perk is hmm Idk, ridiculous???
There needs to be some consistency amongst perks. For instance, only one slot may contain a damage buff.
And where is the point in releasing new leg perks weekly, only to miss out and never have the opportunity to get them again?
Is it really not possible for us to just select the perk we want or for you to release less perks and to somehow give us a better shot at acquiring the ones we want/need?
The strategy I see from you so far is just 'release as much new crap as possible to keep them coming' and its painful. Slow it down and let us climb the ladder without you shaking it every five minutes.
One last thing. Talents need to have an affect on gearscore. Nightmare players with Mk2s and 3s are running rampant in event. They carry a couple legendary weapons, shields and a turbo - all level ones, of course. Just to keep that gear score low, to manipulate the talent affects on items!!
If you don't change that then I'll just assume its a 'perk' of the game and that this is all a big joke.
These weren't suggestions. More a rant on things that need to happen. I'm 'suggesting' them cause either you don't even know that they exist or you're too lazy to rectify them.
