    Hi everyone!
I've been playing a little while now, and I get invited to guilds frequently. Is there an advantage to joining a guild? I do not want any time commitment, since my real world life might not allow it (as a director of a medical research laboratory). What is involved? Just new/more quests?
    Thanks,
    SC

P.S. My stupid name was randomly generated by Google games

Guild raffles allow you to get additional rewards each season (usually a lot of good stuff if you join an active guild). Each guild has different standards.

We set up a guild JUST to have fun, chat, fleet and battle a little and do quests if we want - no pressure. We had been in a guild before that was 100% quest focused and it wasn’t for me...this one is much more fun!
Generally I have found the raffles give you occasional perks, pearls and parts or pieces but not worth the grind or stress! Good luck though, hope you find what you need!

There are some guilds that are super serious about guild quests, and they might even require you to use discord, but then there are some guilds (like guild I'm in, Arctic Armada), that are more laid back and just get quests done as a byproduct of playing. We don't worry about getting #1 on the guild rivalry, and many of our players are in jobs or have kids so they can't always play. We only kick members if they have been inactive for months haha. You just have to find the right guild for you that wouldn't require a great deal of commitment.

As for how being in a guild benefits you, you complete guild quests to earn raffle tokens. The average guild probably gets anywhere from 50-120k tokens per guild season. With these tokens you can spin the raffle and get 5+ epic perks every season along with a good chance at a legendary piece (I've gotten several). If you want to know what you can get just check out this video:

Our guild Daymare League is in a bad shape right now, several people have left and we have more and more people going, we try every season but we are overwhelmed by other more active guilds or people with more weapons than us... but I like this guild because I know the people in it and I love fleeting with such good players

Yeah if anything it's not about the rewards, I joined my guild before the raffle update and the people you meet and play with are far more important :)

You should absolutely be in a guild. Guild raffle is probably ‘the’ best way to get good stuff for free.

Guilds compete in rivalries and do quests (similar to your daily quests), everyone in the guild shares the rewards.

You don’t ‘need’ to do anything, you could just let your guildmates do all the quests and you just claim the rewards each week. However some guilds might expect a minimum level of contribution, and kick members who aren’t active. It depends on the guild.

If you’re lucky you can contribute just by playing normally. If you specialise in an unusual weapon or boat, then guilds will love you whatever.

True that. A great guild was CK 2.0 (It's currently in the Top 50), which is made up of many cool and old Nightmare League players(like Captain Crunch, Sunk, Stoopid Sailor and many more) who were in the old Cereal Killers guild. They let me and @• Percy • in, and the community was quite cool and so was the quest progress was good(probably average for a Nightmare guild, lool).

Now I'm in this small guild(13 players including me), which is made up of like 4 whales in Ace League, so the quest progress is really nice(and there is like no competition in rivalry because we only have so many players, us having like 25+ quest right now, and everybody else has less than 4).

Judging by your condition, I'd say ask for a new/casual guild. Competitive guilds kick members for inactivity, which is just, well, insulting. If you're game, I'll tell my mates at Fifty Caliber Squad(#MOJOZ is the tag) to accept you. I created(and left) the guild.
