New Floater tactic: float until game is 99% over, move once.

I have been seeing a lot of Floaters with a new tactic, they're obviously trying to tank their infamy. They just sit there without moving until every other teammate is dead, then they move a little and take a shot or two, and head straight at the enemy until they die.

This is obviously a tactic to avoid detection of not moving or shooting the entire game, and to avoid banning. The developer needs to take a new strategy to neutralize these "mostly floaters."

If you do this, you're ruining the game for everyone.

 

Tanking infamy isn't worth it anymore as you lose your rewards when getting droped. Some of these "mostly floaters" are probably just people who have lost connection. I don't say there wouldn't be people who doesn't know there is such a thing as counter-tanker -- no reason for tanking anymore. They'll learn it eventually

 

No doubt, I can lose infamy while trying, no need to float. I go up and down 800 infamy every other day. Getting frustrated with this matchmaking system.

the frickin 2 friends are both level 20 and have been using MK1 ships on purpose, and i was unfortunate enough to have played on their team twice. The one dude is a clan leader and has 0 Infamy at level 20; must be a 12 year old thats too afraid to go outside knowing some good samaritan is going to kick his asss

 

Everyone who tanks knows it's best to just suicide, exit game and repeat.

Tanking isn't helping anyone farm anymore though.
