I am sick and tired of torps continuously one shotting me. If its not that, splash damage is ridiculous, people damage me through the wall. Its not fair. Big torp should be nerfed. Not tri-torp tough as no one sues it much these days anyway. Maybe reduce splash damage or splash radius.
What are ur views about this topic, I know that most of u will disagree but I want to know why?

Well well well... Looks like someone can't take precautions and be aware of his surroundings.
"Oh no! A big torpedo 1 shotted a mark 4 speeder playing around mark 5 players!" Get over it pal, if you can't dodge the game's slowest weapon as freaking speeder (AKA: THE FASTEST BOAT), then I don't know what you can dodge.

Ha lol I am a fixer so ur points already gone off point, and playing around better players doesnt mean that weapons should be able to one-shot me. I am only at 1500 infamy so wepaons shouldnt be strong enough to one-shot me. No need to be sarcastic.

Well then, stop playing with your eyes shut.

What do u mean eyes shut?? a well placed torpedo cant be evaded by a fixer if they are so close to the enemy. As I use carronade, I am always quite close to the enemy and one well led torp can destroy me, why is it just one. Maybe two is understandable because I would have time after the first to leave and heal

Also, why do you hug walls? Do they hug you back or something? Because I don't recall any benefits of hugging a wall, except getting hit with AoE weapons.

As a carronade fixer in places like wayward pains I have to literally use the wall to hide as otherwise I wont be close enough to hit them.Walls = protection normally, unless u are in an earthquake but this game's wall do not give protection against torps.

If it’s well placed then doesn’t that mean that the opponent is skilled? Torps do not need a nerf, and i’m saying this when best torps take away half of my 6144 health.

What about just not allowing splash damage through walls.

Splash has radius if wall is thin than splash radius you should be affected there is no other alternative.

I learnt my lesson and at the start of the game i dont venture out much.Stay behind cover till the enemy is sighted. Its then generally the torp rain stops

It happens because an explosion under water causes an immense amount of pressure. Which is why a torpedo is so deadly. That rapid change in water pressure is more lethal than an explosion in air.

In real life it makes sense, torpedos are meant to go through the sides of ships but in BB, I feel it is a very big nuisance.

This is what happens when a small explosive is thrown into water, now imagine a torpedo...

A big torp hit on me is almost a guaranteed 1-shot. I say leave them alone. I like a weapon that you can actually dodge, follows waves, and does a lot of damage. It adds a different tactical element than "just another gun".

Insofar as splash through the walls, I think I can tell you why that happens. I'm going to guess it's for purely prosaic reasons. It's easy to code a big circle of splash damage and find any ship in it. There's this thing called "occlusion" which is what you need to figure out what might be blocking some or all of that circle. Occlusion is a lot harder. I'm guessing it's simple coding and math efficiency. I'm fine with the explosions through walls too.

Lol, but why cant they just take it out the game, the game isnt a microcosm of society in anyway for other weapons. Normally real-life mortars dont show where they will end up

Ur suggesting that it will take a lot of work to adjust the radius for everyone if they get hit from behind a wall.
