You do realise you have to somewhat close to your team for it to do anything, heals slowly over time (not instant like repair bolt) and can be weakened by other weapons like flare guns with the right talents?

 

Then you can just say nerf nitro, overboost,
and tesla tesla shield (this we actually should).

Repair pulse is a unique item that is meant for healing a team. It's not op because in order to heal the group, the fixer needs to come up to the front when they are vunerable, since fixers are targeted most often compared to other ships.
If you make it a projectile so you have to aim, that will make it op since it will allow them to heal teammates while sitting in the back, where they are most likely safe.

I also think repair bolt should be nerfed, remove it's unlimited range or slow down the projectile or something.

 

double pulse is still op when the fixer just floats in one place and spams double pulse the whole game and does as much heals as the top two damage dealers on either team

 

Then it's the enemies' fault for not targeting the fixer. Any good player would try to target the fixer if he's constantly healing teammates with double pulse.
Especially if the fixer is just floating in one place, it should even really easy to kill him.

 

Yeah the poor repair box is underused it should at least drop the box faster or have crit chance perks

Then complain about your teammates and explosive cannons, not repair pulse. You say so yourself that those are the problems.

when there is no counter to double pulse it needs to be nerfed either cooldown or effect just like nerf to explosive cannon

 

when items get nerfed it effects other items as well and those items need to be adjusted to coincide with other nerfs and buffs or else the game becomes unbalanced

 

they sit=don't move? or sit=stay in safe distance? but they can't sit back (far away like with bolts) with pulses because you need to be in group of your teammates to heal them all because pulse's radius is not that big
and if they were sitting at one place or going only slighlty forward and backward then there is nothing easier than sending nice gift to them-either torpedo, mortar, fire bomb or napalm and I doubt that you never have at least one torpedo/mortar/fire bomb/napalm in your team
and pulse is op? maybe it's totall healing is big but it heals only by small chunks of it so having flare with 30% on one of your teammates is bab for you, you're also in permanent risk of getting mortar/torpedo hit or even something like blast/ex cannon/flare hit when you are close to the enemy and it hurts to be close to them becaue fixers are primar targets for anyone with at least basic tactics knowledge (no offense intended)
you also need your team to be in one small group which makes your whole team really vulnerable to almost any weapon (because it's awesome to fire mortars/torps at groups of enemies and you don't need to really aim when you shoot cannon at them as it will most likely hit one of the enemies or even splash damage multiple enemies)

 

the dps and consistency(accuracy) is too low to keep up with double pulse spamming which is why double pulse needs to be nerfed

pulse is also good only against steady dps, not burst damage
burst damage counter is bolt
you can't counter huge burst damage when healing for like 100 per second for limited time

 

What do you mean? It's easy to kill fixers with double pulse and they're easy to deal with. If they want to help theire teammates, they need to come up front where they're vunerable. The repair pulse ony heals the fixer ittself for half the healing, so the fixer can't recover quickly, and once you kill the fixer, you can just kill off the rest of the enemies. The pulse does not outheal the weapons that you and your teammates would be dealing to the fixer if you play well and actually taret the fixer. Perhaps you're just asking for strategies on how to deal with double pulse fixers.

 

Repair bolt isn’t op (at least not at 3k infamy). I used to run 1 leg bolt, 1 epic lvl30 bolt, and 1 lvl 40 rare pulse.
Now I run 1 leg bolt, 1 epic lvl 21 pulse and lvl 40 pulse and get the same amount of healing and more stars than before.
