Need guide for better mine

    Is there better way to use it OR just hope enemy hits it. Mining is pretty fun, almost troll build but still works no few map.
    Let me know better way to use it,

    There is definitely an art in using mines :)
    As far as best way to use them, there are several tricks you can use:

    • Lay them on blind corners, so as a ship goes to peep round it goes off
    • Lay them in long grass / reeded areas which make them much harder to spot
    • Put them inside repair boxes
    • Lay them on top of other dead ships / wrecks
    • Use Napalm to hide the mines
    • Create a field making it very hard to manoeuvre through on a busy part of the map

    I think range perks help a lot. I’ve been caught out a couple of times by mines that I assumed belonged my team, because they were too close to have been placed by unfriends. But then it turns out it was launched by some speedy scout with range perks.

    Edit: Also hi! I saw you earlier today using double mines in one of my games. :)

    Another fun thing is to throw a mine behind somebody. They sometimes can't see what you threw or forget about it and back up into it ;)

    You could lay out some traps and then try to get the enemy speeder or enforcer to chase you.
