My new event suggestion

    Little bit late to the party but..

    This event would be played on the small maps except the one with ice. It would be a 5v5 event.
    Imagine all players running MAXED OUT speeders, with NO RED and BLUE ITEMS (except for Turbo), using only YELLOW ITEMS - Oberboost and dual Nitro.
    There would be 2 goals, one on each side of the map (where players spawn) and 1 big ball (I imagine it to be double - triple the size of Speeder).

    I think you know where I am going with my idea.... Football (or soccer if you want), but a weird one, played on a water :p.
    The goal - to put the ball to the enemies goal. The event could have different sub-modes, like first to score wins or 3 minute mode, that always takes 3 minutes and team with more goals wins.

    PS: I do realise not everybody is a fan of the sport, I'm not huge fan myself, but also not everbody is a fan of Team Deathmatch or Capture The Flag also.:)
    PS2: If it was already suggested I'm sorry, didn't do that much of a research.

    I like the idea, but I think there should be a separate map made especially for this event. I also think the ships should have default max speed and agility and you should be able to choose which boat you want to use, because although speeders might be the best choice for offensive play, enforcers might be good for goalkeeping due to back and forth acceleration to get to the part of the goal that the ball is heading towards, and maybe defender might also be good for goalkeeping if they made it bigger for just the event. And then shooter can have one mine that works only on the ball and blasts it away, and fixer can have a pulse like thing that can push a way the ball. Just ideas off the top of my head.
