MK2 Speeder

Hey guys! I just wanted to ask a quick question, what would be better? Pls refer to poll for the question.

 

What do u mean by duellist expert. Do u mean good at aiming and do heaps of damage???
And by assassin do u mean those swift movers who confuse their enemies and finish them off or something?

 

Do you like dealing consistent damage or are you a hit-and-run player?

 

Ok guys I get it now. I am more of a Speeder who does damage, and then runs away from enemies, but also distracts them at the same time... so yeah

Double overboost is good if you have epics, but if not, stick to nitroglycerin and overboost

 

Mk4 and below go for
Ob + nitro
Ob helps you in escaping enemy or getting in close quarters with them.
It also helps you in drawing the match and getting quickly back to ur fixers.
Nitro
It's helps you in avoiding those canon shots and most importantly mortar spamming that is quite prevalent at your infamy.
I wouldn't recommend double nitro as it takes lot of map control knowledge to use double nitro as using double nitro as you tend to run in lot of Torps and mines.
Also you need two good nitros on really low cooldown to pull this off.
Till then use ob+nitro it's simple and quite effective

I’m a speeder, you need speed.

Honestly, other yellow items really shouldn’t be used for speeder, those are for enforcer, speeders get such high agility that they can handle their speed. So get an overboost and a nitro. And as soon as you get three yellow slots, double nitro!

 

Yep. I wonder if at mk5, overboost + nitro + nitro is better than overboost + nitro + tesla after the nerf? Probably depends on weapons.

 

I’m ok with my Tesla. Gives me 10 seconds of stun time. I just think about the poor guys who have 6 second stuns

 

I tried double nitro it's really hard to learn as you tend to run into torps mines and mortars a lot for running double nitro you need to have knowledge of what is going on whole map and full knowledge of maps every nook and corner otherwise you will get decimated easily only speeder that I have seen who has been able to pull off double/triple nitros setup is corgi and he is a really talented speeder.
PS: and you need 2/3 really powerful nitros with really low cooldown

 

Running multiple nitros gets much better in late game. Wait until you get 2 nitros with 6s cooldown or less and you can rapid-fire them pretty quickly. At mk4 as @Crashedup and others have said, OB and nitro is the most popular option since your nitro cooldown isn't short enough to give you that constant boost of speed. Use OB to get places and nitro to dodge. If you'd rather use a utility item, you can switch the nitro out, but the OB is widely known to be mandatory on speeders (some exceptions but only at really high levels).
