Mismatch

My last 2 battles ended like this:


As you can see, the result was pretty predictable before the start of each battle by ship marks (I know ship marks don't determine the quality of the player, but 2 MK5 ships on one team? C'mon..).

 

Get used to it. Matches are as balanced as they can be.

If they are matching mk5s with mk4s it's usually because the mk5's have been doing poorly and have no chance against other mk5s.

 

It's already pretty normal to find mk5s in that infamy range. And there are only going to be more, as more and more players upgrade their ships over time.

 

I'm using mk5 and I gets paired with many many many mk6s. A lot of them are using tier 4-5 epics and tier 1-4 legendarys. Everyday I play with/against the world's best and I'm no where close to where they are. It's irritating, but there's not much we can do without having more players at my level to make things even. So the system then turns to match 1 person to another. That's why you can see people with over 1000 infamy difference from top to bottom of the teams. But the same thing happens to the enemy team, which makes the game "equal". It would be nice if this wasn't the case but until other players reach my level it won't be as good as it could :/
