Mine spamming in Deathmatch mode should be punished/ Rating suggestion for Deathmatch

    Disclaimer: I totally agree that mine spamming is a legit strategy in other modes where death is irrelevant to goal or no-respawning.

    The problem with this strategy in Deathmatch, however, is that the spammer who very likely contributes over 5 of the unfriend's kill, would also very likely get on top of their team because of the sheer dmg of mines and got rewarded mostly. I consider BB is a team play game and this strategy is against the spirit as the one who directly causes the defeat yet get rewarded instead of punished.

    I understand coding specifically for mine is impractical and may break the strategy in other game modes, hence I suggest to have the rating/rewarding system after battle associated to the number of deaths instead of simply dmg/healing done (e.g. dmg/healing per death). This way it would not only suppress the particular foul strategy of the discussion, it can also prevent any other similar ones too.

    sometimes it become painful as some player will spread mine in opponent home base.some shooter only take mines.mines should disappear when the miner dies

    This guy won 2v1 with mine spamming.

    Channel avertising aside,
    I would say just leave it as it is. Or balance the stats so that the cooldown is more but the damage is better. This will lead to more strategic placement like in that video than simple spamming.

    In past TDMs mines have had lowered lifespan, not sure why they get full lifespan this time around. I'm seeing huge minefields in many matches.

    Again, the post is talking about deathmatch mode. I never doubt the possibilities of mine spamming in normal mode even the majority of practitioners are just spamming brainlessly and wish for a good map to support the strategy.

    And yes, I admitted that I hesitated about whether to reply to those who cannot read or not.

    To be honest, I'd be happy if when you die in deathmatch, the moment you respawn causes any mines you'd dropped pre-death to disappear. Never gonna happen though haha

    You can use your invunerability shield to run over the mines nearby when you die.
