Maximum Speed and Overboost

    Sorry if this has been posted already. I couldn't find it.

    Someone told me that he used Nitro instead of Overboost, because Overboost cannot exceed the Speed Limit. For this reason, it's better to use Nitro, even 3 Nitro with a Mk4 Speeder, because it can break limit.
    Could someone please verify this information for me?
    I'm currently using 2 Overboost, which I'm thinking of either switching to 1 of each, or 2 Nitro.

    Any advice will be very welcomed. I'm still at level 12, not having much experience with Speeder.

    Pretty sure that's false because my ship is at max speed from just turbos and my overboost still has an effect. Good question

    OB can break the limit. Since it is a yellow item, it doesn't look at the limits of the ship. And you can only rep two nitrous in a mk 4. Also, nitrous aren't much use solo. They need to be paired with OB. I'll share my setup here: Screenshot_2017-07-01-18-51-15-653_com.rovio.battlebay.png It works well if you know your way around torps. Also, I have now switched to double overboost.

    DUDE IT TOOK ME FOREVER TO CATCH UP TO YOU IN A GAME. I had to tesla bolt you just to get my sniper shots on you but i got you eventually haha. In-game I am "Joey Who" btw

    Dayum, that works! But only if you have three of them. Otherwise it won't be continuous

    This is the reason why I have Dual turbos in my mk4 shooter....It helped me a lot to get rid of speeders in battle (Not Always, But Most of the Time) Screenshot_2017-07-04-09-51-19.png
