Maximum resources

Guys, is this a bug or something?

Sometimes my resorces go upper than the maximum allowed.

 

It's not a bug. It was a new feature added in update 2.5, where you can overflow your resources over storage capacity once:if you already have overflowed resources, you can't continue overflowing them(for obvious reasons), but if your resource is under maximum storage capacity, you can overflow it, by for example, collecting quest rewards.

Also there is a technique you can use, when your resources are full,
buy a common WEAPON and claim quest (if gold is full)
Buy a common weapon, upgrade it and claim quest (if sugar is full)
So you will have a good amount of CAP sugar, useful for training costly captains

{Gold Or sugar doesn't cap when maxed already, hence you need to reduce it by buying common weapon to a little less than max capacity}

I never have more than 500,000 gold unless I'm saving for next mk...
