    A thread for ideas for new, unique maps to spice up the Home Island. Feel free to post your own!

    Vaporized Village: A flooded, bombed out town/city area. Buildings, some of which are hollow with entrances like the Damage Depot capture zone, and cars form a tight maze to navigate. Capture point in a town hall looking building. Large map for normal play.

    Sniper Stadium: A flooded sports stadium. Mostly open, with dislodged seats and goal nets forming obstacles and walls. Capture point at midfield. Large map for normal play.

    Crippled Cruiser: An ocean liner torpedoed off the island during the human war, now hollow and just another battle location. Pieces of the ship (hull, engine, interior) form obstacles. A capture point is located near the exploded engine. Remnants of ship's upper decks visible above. Dark, Wayward/Midfight type atmosphere. Large map for normal play.

    The Sinkhole: A smaller map set at the entrance to a huge mineshaft, with one team spawning in a tunnel at the water's surface. Mining equipment, rocks outside form obstacles. Capture zone is in the center of a ruined mining camp poking above the waves. Smaller map for events, customs (like Brawl Park, Cold Riddance, First Flood)

    Tidal Bay: a map near a post apocalyptic beach with large variances in the water level where you could actually end up beached briefly when the "tide" goes out and unable to move. These areas where you can be beached should be set up as prime spots to shoot from so as to increase the risk reward calculation. Obstacles could be beach or marina themed. Large map for regular play.

    The whirlpool: should be obvious from the name but in case it's not a map with a large whirlpool in the center. The whirlpool should affect ships by their size so it would pull harder on a speeder than a defender. Instead of a capture circle there would be a capture ring just outside of the point of no return on the whirlpool. In regular matches dying in the whirlpool would be like dying from being shot. In events it would lead to a permanent death, no respawn. The theming could be like a large sewer drain or some other setup that would make the whirlpool effect more plausible. Again a large map for regular matches.

    Volcano Cove: I'm pretty sure some of the mountains look like volcanoes so why not set up a map where one erupts. The lava could cause damage along with falling debris that also cause damage. There should also be steam from the water being heated up that periodically obscures vision and blocks radar. I'd be ok with this one being a mini map but I think it would also work as a large one.

    I would also be for maps/events that were limited to specific ships. So maybe an event on a new map that only speeders and enforcers can use. It could have ramps and stuff.
