Crew Training is just way too Overpriced :(.
    Why? Here's why.
1.sugar is hard to get and you have to level up and your items.
2 sugar is bit hard to save.
3why can't gold be used to level up items? I mean the Crew training is way overpriced and same with the weapons but just not as much.
This maybe a big Problem because Sugar is just not as much Rewarding then gold. I know Its a bit off but I think it's true Please make Sugar a Bit more rewardble? I or make Crew training a bit cheaper at least????

I agree. Unless you're a hardcore player who can grind out the sugar for fun, you have to stunt your progression of either your skills or your gear.

I don't think they're overpriced, but I do think they're used too often with both training + leveling up items. I think training should be sugar + gold and decrease sugar, because you should also pay your crewmembers with something other than sugar, shouldn't you?

Haha... want to see the other side of this argument? First off what captain level are you? My sugar is full at all times... I re-roll all Sugar Daily Quests because I need Gold and Sugar just goes to waste. Here's what you have to look forward to, which started for me around Captain Level 28:

Right now I want to level up my T3E Tesla Shield. It takes 115k sugar, 824 Common, 733 Uncommon, 448 Rare, 68 Epic parts. Market rate for those parts is well over 1M Gold. Daily quests give roughly equivalent of each, Battles give maybe 2x Gold. If you are a math wiz its obvious that leveling up requires 10x Gold than Sugar. Not only that, you need gold for Evolves of Items and Ships... many millions for Ships, which is why most of mine are not upgraded.

In other words the vast majority of your game time will *not* be having issues with Sugar, it'll be severe Gold shortages. Enjoy your lack of Sugar while it lasts. :)

I have the opposite problem. I've had max sugar for this whole week despite rushing training twice (halfway, cost a lot of pearls :() Although there have been times in which I had neither gold or sugar.

I agree that sugar needs some rebalancing during the mid game.

I think the problem is power creep. It’s making it harder and harder to progress.

Players in Master League now, are having to build the same kind of setups that ‘used to’ get you into Nightmare, and they’re having to do it with a fraction of the rewards.

Back when Master League was full of mk3s and mk4s, getting 10k sugar was probably fine, but nowadays Master is completely dominated by mk5s and even mk6s, and those tiny rewards are just inadequate.

You hit the nail on the head. If you aren't leveling up your weapons and ships at the same PACE as the people in your league, then you are falling behind. In order to actually gain infamy(not just normal swings), but actual stable infamy increases, you have to level your items faster than people at your same infamy. Eventually(in around a years time) everyone in ACE, and Master will have MK7 ships. Getting to Nightmare will require T2 and T3 legendary weapons, plus a lot of skill. This I fear is going to cause beginners to quit, because they are going to be put into battles at 500 infamy against bad players with MK6 and Mk7s and the beginner can't endure that punishment while they grind out progression to at least get a MK5 and compete.

Just buy it using real money
There is no need to fix it as it effect everyone and is so not unfair
If its unfair like 1 person getting most out of it then i can inderstand
I just dont want peasants lower level noobs to have easy on them, let them grind

    Does it really matter?
but you know where the problem is? this causes one big problem of BB-the gap between "old players" (those who really play since global launch) and the newbies so it's getting harder to reach higher infamy because of this increasing gap (yes, it's more expensive to upgrade high level items but high infamy players grind resources faster so imho the gap is getting bigger, not staying approximately same-this would set some kind of "standard skill and items requirement")
