Long range mort or grenade? Uncommon or epic?

Hi forum.
I am a lvl14 mk2 shooter, and I wonder whether I am powerful enough or not. I played this game as soon as it was released, and I spend most of my time on getting epic and rare items--but epics are so hard to upgrade and evolve.

Should I replace my LRM with grenade? Which in your opinion is better? Should I investigate more on uncommon items since they are easy to upgrade and evolve?

I love this game btw

 

Btw I admit that my infamy is low.. I do my parts every time but somehow never climb up in ranks... is that I have the wrong battle strategy?

 

Epics are long term investing items so definetly do not stop upgrading them. Of course if you dont find duplicate to evolve epics then try to find same by lower rarity level (for example rare items)
Since you are still mk2 and that low on infamy I would recommend you to use both of them and try it out which one suits you better. If you are always going to front line, then pick granade. If you more likely stay back, take LRM. But the most important thing is that you need to try weapons while you are on low infamy and new in game. No one can say you should use this or that.

Use LRM. I think that Grenades are best with Enforcer.

 

Id consider subbing out one of your cannons for the grenade, its really effective against speeders who run up to you. But then again at mk2 and 3 if you just keep your distance, your current setup is plenty effective.

Definitely keep them though, scrappin usable epics isnt really worth as you can just buy parts and there are plenty of higher level shooters who hav had success using grenades
