Let's talk about weird shots.

You know when your (wow) T5 legendary ex cannon shot doesn't register? That's most likely a server problem where ( I think) the BB server says NOPE. But your screen says yep!

But sometimes the enemy doesn't appear to hit you but you still take damage... I don't know why that happens.

 

Lag unfortunately. Gives speeders an advantage.

 

I don't know if thats a advantage or not. I seen speeders get a direct hit by a torpedo and don't take any damage. But like a second as they nitro. They take the damage and died. Now, my favorite part is the corpse launch when the speeder die as they nitro. Thats why I don't usually complain about non register damage. It is just funny to watch.

 

Just the opposite , i have nitro-ed from a lot of shots but it deal damage without hitting me

 

I've almost never hit a nitroing speeder. I've hit speeders far, far more times when they aren't nitroing only to do 0 damage. Trust me, it's an advantage. There is a sweet spot right at the tip of the nose, anywhere else on the ship is a miss. Some games I score damage on only 1/3 visually landed shots. Super frustrating.

I know what you mean , you land a shoot on an speeder and it hit them but it doesn't get registered , but what i mean is :you shoot a shoot , and that speeder nitro before it land ,or even before you shoot for SC , and the shot miss and hit the water , but it still deal damage .
Iam a 2x nitro speeder , i face that all the time

I agree, that would suck. Just not common from my perspective.

 

I have really bad internet. 5 down and 1.5 (I think, I don't pay as much attention to upload speed lol) up on a really good day.
My ping is always about 50ms, and I rarely see any "weird shots". ExC always does dmg when it shows it hits, etc...
I guess I'm lucky I live in east coast of the USA.

 

I've seen people say their ping is >1,000

How do you even type with that ping

 

Eh, typing is easy, but waiting for the keyboard to load and then for it to send is annoying.
Not to mention you can't really play...

 

My ping usually hovers around 100ms, doesnt really affect gameplay as such (sometimes on wayward and crash and burn, I get a bit of stutter at the start).
Weird shots however... Not seen many, I've been hit and taken no damage, and I've seen my shots hit and deliver no damage. I just take it as part of the game tbh (same as the wave trick with the firebomb)
