    If there's serious issues with chat filtering and you feel you're getting hit with false-positives, open a thread in Support with examples of what you were trying to type.

    And if you're going to meme, we have a whole subforum for that in Off-Topic where it's not just allowed, but encouraged.

    Heya - I actually looked into the chat filter just yesterday and we will implement something this week that should already take care of most filtering we also feel should go through or is too sensitive.

    I really appreciate the overall feedback, just stay friendly - not going to accept swearing in this forum.

    Chat filtering has been something I wanted to work on for a long time, and it's not that easy :)
    From what I've seen the current filter has caught actually more harmful chat than not - however, for example, it does not differentiate between names and chat text - soon to be changed.
    The filter has to be also manually adjusted in some areas as gamer slang is not accounted for - and other words or combinations of words that make sense to us but not to the filtering software.

    I agree the current filter is not perfect and comes with it's own challenges - but the old system was not good either. Please bear with me. Work in progress!
