Leaving a battle early?

    If I die in a battle and immediately tap the X to get out so I can start a new fight, is that the same as waiting until the fight ends and then NOT watching the bonus video? Do I get the same rewards as if I had hung around or is there a penalty for leaving early?

    Also a good reason to get VIP. You leave early and still get the bonus rewards.
