First my two cents. The agility boost needs to be pulled back some. I’m all for a “faster” gameplay, but it’s too much as is. Why not boost ship speed as well if we are going this extreme? Now I can turn left/right on a dime, but my ship crawls without a turbo? Anyways, I think this extreme boost in agility is causing issues with some ships, specifically Enforcer, but please post if you have had the same issue with other ships.

I’ll be engaging an opponent with a weapon that needs to be led such as a grenade or a torpedo. As I do so, my ship will think that I’m trying to engage another target and whip my crosshairs completely away from my intended target. Most of the time this happens just as I’m shooting so I’m wasting shots.

Less often, but it happens, I’ve had issues where a ship may rush me, but I’m engaging a ship that is a little behind it. I can’t get my crosshairs to attach to the target I’ve been fighting as the closer ship pulled them. I end up having to go to the buttons to swtich targets as I’ve never had to do before. When learning the game that target button may have been useful, but in Nightmare league it’s just wasted time.

I’ve NEVER had these issues prior to the update so that leads me to believe that the agility change is to blame. Since Enforcer has by far the highest agility, that may be why it’s the most erratic ship. Regardless, this is something that needs addressed. If you have noticed this issue or something similar, please post your experience.

Yes, auto-targeting is aggressive. Your best bet is to get in the habit of locking target on an opponent to avoid this. There isn't another work-around.... but the auto-target used to be even more jumpy than it is now.

Try turning off "Smart Targeting" and see if that helps, but I think it's a another situation where you have to learn to lock. I still haven't trained myself on that either. My issue is that I usually want to target the rushing opponent but auto-targeting will purposefully bounce my aim to someone in the distance before settling back down on the opponent sitting in front of me.

Personally I haven't noticed a difference as you are seeing... the extra agility has been a bigger issue for me getting in the way of close-range combat, so I could be overlooking the change. IMO there's too much auto-drive and auto-aiming required in this game.
