Is this a bug or just too op?

    So this just happened...

    I got hit with a firebomb but when I was just in the edge of the circle... And 19 seconds of damage wtf?

    Yeah, that is odd... I've seen this happen many times, but yours is a much better proof.

    The prediction of fire bombs, missiles and grenades deserves special attention, they are unpredictable with high waves.

    I wonder if it’s to do with your Tesla Shield. The hit box area for that would be considerably larger than just your ship, and might have still been overlapping the bullseye.

    The waves in nosesabe's case in not high at all. Given the allowance for the inaccuracy of the firebomb prediction circle due to waves, maybe 15%, at most he should be hit for 7-8 seconds, not 19 seconds. Definitely a very bad bug.

    I don't know, I've seen some missile doing 0 damage when they should hit me on my face and others taking full damage when they should miss on Fighthouse

    Because missiles overlap, I think there might sometimes be some delay while it calculates the damage.

    Yeah, the prediction software needs attention.
    I tried to block a mortar by sitting right in the center with my shield. It went over me, and only did a little damage, but if was was farther back, (edge of the circle) the projectile would have hit me dead on.

    Just come out of a match where I was at the edge and got hit for 16 seconds. The friendly shooter sat in the middle of it got 4 seconds... Pretty sure it's a bug now.

    Yeah same, and it's especially annoying with my defender, because I get happy that I got out of the circle with my turtle speed, and suddenly, boom-15 seconds fire.

    Yeah... even in my Speeder, when I see an orange circle, I Nitro as far away from that s*** as I can get.

    Been burned too many times thinking I was safe on the edge.

    FIREBOMB DisAdvantage:-

    -->Passive Damage
    -->sacrifice good deal of HP(Which isn't much because the weapons can melt any ship faster)

    FIREBOMB advantage:-

    -->It has very less minimum range,can be fired at closest enemies,unlike other mortars
    -->Huge Theoritical radius(More than big berta). Practical radius is even bigger lol
    -->Faster projectile.I think its pretty darn accurate and inescapable.
    --->Reload time,can be reduced upto 13 seconds.For a epic weapon which can do 2K damage,why the reload is so short?.
    --->Scaling of damage.. Epic T5 does 94*24 for a centre hit, However the weapon easily burns for 100*10/11 seconds on edge.The damage scaling needs work,it is highly beneficial RN..
    --+>Disregards points to defence.The only weapon i believe can melt down a defender in seconds
    --->On top of all this it boosts canon damage

    Only balanced thing about it
    --->Range

    The weapon is the best mortar type currently,with almost no disadvantage.I m a Firebomb user(Epic T3) and have completed 7 million damage already.So this not a selfish req,but the weapon could use some minor balance.

    I would like atleast 3 minor adjustments which would kill FB users

    1) Give WEAPON a good minimum range limit
    2) Radius decreased 3.6--->3.3 same as berta
    3) Reload time increased by 1 second atleast

    Did any dev ever talked about the prediction of fire bomb and other items with similar trajectory? If they think this is how it should work or if they will try to make it more predictable?
