Infamy reward

    This is what I suggested to diminish the lost of infamy at season ends. 6k players has a reward of +15/-34 when in battle with lower players. The closer the opponents to 6k, the closer the +/-. Not everyone in a battle get the same infamy in this instance. Won a 4 on 5 and got 15 infamy points.

    Why is this thread moved? I already made the suggestion a while back. I am just supporting the idea that not everyone on the team should have the same infamy gain lost.

    I totally agree with you. Each one should get +/- infamy based on his performance.

    The issue I have with asking to have infamy based on performance is the example of the Enforcer on the Friends team.
    He was more than likely a floater or a Rambo, and likely he deserves ZERO infamy.
    But there is no way to tell from the final performance stats that during that battle his TIER5 Epic Shield didn't contribute by absorbing 5 or 10 cannon hits and a couple Firebombs hits. While not recording a single point of damage, he could have absorbed 10K worth of damage that could have been inflicted on somebody else.
    Yellow boats can't be rated based upon damage inflicted. Yes, damage is very important. But yellow boats contribute in other ways besides strictly damage inflicted to the Unfriends.

    I don't mind the Enfo got the infamy as it's a team battle. BTW, he was floating. My point involve players above 6K infamy. A trade of 120 infamy point every win/loss battle. The 6K players should get less infamy points and loss more in that 120 pool. That way, getting much higher than 6K will be extremely difficult. Of course, this is after moving reset to 5K.

    It's really hard to measure performance as we all know. I am just suggesting a method to reduce infamy loss every reset.
