Infamy question

    For example, if someone gets 3014 infamy and no more plays in Ranked mode (to stay in Ace div 1), will the infamy be reset or stay 3014 forever?

    They'll stay at 3014.
    Infamy only resets for players at 4000 Infamy or higher. If you're in the 4000 – 5000 range, you get reset to 4000. At 5000+, they'll get reset to 5000.

    There is a certain point where after remaining inactive for extended periods of time you will slowly lose infamy to compensate for the relative gear of other players.
    I'm not sure if this is still a thing as I haven't heard much about it lately, but maybe @TheAntiSnipe has some more info on this.

    The "infamy decay" system only works when the player is inactive. Not just in Ranked, but in the game in general. Playing casual or events does not cause your infamy to decay.

    So yeah, if the person gets to 3014, he'll stay there unless he goes inactive for a few months on end.

    don't play ranked , so when they see Ranked mode is inactive they may remove it as infamy reset lol .
