Increase size of left control?

My biggest issue with this game involves the left control. Due to lack of tactile feel, my thumb constantly slips out of the control area, at which point it takes me a moment to realize I am stalled out, or the screen goes haywire (looking around) and regaining control takes a bit, both of which tend to lead to getting hit a couple extra times. Is there any plans to increase the control area on that side?

The joystick needs to be floating like many fps have options for.

One problem I find with the left control is that my thumb is usually in the forward position and it obscures the comms. Unfortunatly, the comms is one of the few UI elements that you can't reposition.

It might actually be smart to have an option to reverse the controls (pull back to go forward), like in flying games. While it might sound odd at first, it's easy to get used to, and it would mean your left thumb is typically down and out of the way. So you'd be able to see more on the left side, be able to see the comms, and you can usually feel the edge of the screen, so your thumb is less likely drift off the control.

Making the left joystick autoreposition when you put your finger down is something we have discussed. It would have to be an option though because it is a compromise which is not strictly better. With that you can't tap outside of the current joystick to cancel the shot like you can currently. Also now if you just want to go forward you can press at the top of the joystick directly, with auto positioning you would always have to first press low on the screen and then swipe your finger up. But it's definitely something that some players would like more.

Heyo, miika. Can we have an option to permanently see range numbers? It would really help torpedo users to home in better

The joystick resize helps, but since it defaults to 1.75 out of 2, it only gets a little bigger. I'm trying sticky throttle, but it'll take some time to get used to to decide if it helps at all.

I have to reverse my opinion... the joystick resize doesn't help at all. What I wanted was a bigger area of "full throttle" to reduce stalling my boat with my thumb slipping out of the control entirely. Instead what it gives is a bigger area of reduced throttle, requiring more movement of one's thumb to get to full throttle, which reduces control sensitivity.

I don't like sticky throttle either as I keep finding myself accidentally floating forward or back when I accidentally don't return the control to center... which is not always easy without looking at the control.
