In all the capture the flag game modes, respawn timers should scale up faster.

    Not a ton faster, but there should be a punishment option for the one boat who keeps rushing in for the flag and failing over and over.

    Seems like you want to punish a player on your team for doing this. It might be annoying but I don’t think I would want my team playing short handed any more than they already are.
    And I don’t mind these players so much; I play in slower boats so I just try to get to about where they will be killed so I can pick up the flag and run with it enough to get some extra coins.

    I actually think the reverse is true.

    In TDM, suiciding was a selfish strategy that was being abused to get bigger rewards than your teammates, while giving points away to the other team.

    In CTF, you don’t give away any points when you die, so there is little reason to punish people for it; especially when the whole object of the game, is to complete a suicidal incursion into enemy territory, and steal their flag.

    I actually think that respawning should be faster in CTF, or at very least speed up during overtime. Taking the flag is never a bad thing, it prevents the other team from scoring, and even if you drop it, your team can still pick it up and continue the run.

    People shouldn’t be punished for trying to win the game. Flag carriers are trying to win. That’s not the same as suiciders in TDM, who were just trying to farm rewards.
