Hurricane Zone

Ever since I started the game, what drew me in was how cool it was to have waves in an arena style game and that they actually block shots and you can seek cover behind them is so cool. That's why I like the game and why I like certain levels so much.

Now, I know the devs are working on a million things so I don't expect them to create this idea any time soon but how cool would it be to have a level where there was like a massive storm taking place throughout the map and the waves were super epic. I feel like it would add such another dimension to the game.

That idea is really cool. But I doubt that even the latest technical developments would be enough to create a game like that.

 

Just like the scene in Pirates of the Carribean when the Black Pearl and Flying Dutchman was circling each other

 

yeah I think so too but you never know, I mean it could just be like superficial rain with some lighting strikes in the background, thunder sounds and then just raise the value and velocity of the waves in the software .... ::thinking:: lulz

 

I was thinking about that this am. Because from afar it kind of looked like my bfs was snowing lol and i thought hmmmm that would be a helly cool idea!

 

Agreed, I'm fiendin' for them super choppy waters that u have to navigate while doing all the original bae stuff

Maybe a whole new map.

Just a large circle with a giant whirlpool in the middle, so we fight around it and other ship wreckage can act as shield.

If you go in to the middle, it's a instant death or something.

 

that's a brilliant idea... maybe the hurricane level could have a whirlpool or like the eye of the storm in the center and as u get closer the waters get choppier

or even better the eye/whirlpool could slowly move randomly around the map

 

Storms and differemt weather, reduced visibility would be very cool!

It could have a permanent "Tempest" weather! Greatly reduced visibility and occasional lightning strike that light up the field!

 

agreed... yeah I would especially like some waves that were so big they require skill to navigate and battle at the same time in a level like that.

Some ideas on what it could look like is that you are batting in and around a wrecked real-life sized pirate ship. There would be wood scraps floating around and high waves. There would be thunder and lightning everywhere. That plus reduced visibility I thing would make a very good looking map

or, somtimes very rarly there could be "tempest mode" on maps where there is a moving whirlpool and choppy waves like @DeeMeester said.

When your just going up a huge wave, and a torpedo just lands in your face from the other side.
