How to spend sugar the most efficient?

Hi there,

right know I am wondering what`s the best way to spend your sugar on. I am captain level 27 and at infamy around 1800. Therefor crew trainig costs around 500k sugar or even more so that I cant train the crew member. Beside this, I have several items that should be leveled to bring them at least on cap to the currents best level. Right know I have only sugar for doing one of these options, I am afraid this will not change in futur
So what is the better way to go? Use the sugar for training your crew and rise in captains level as fast as possible or first bring all your items to the best level possible to have a better chance in the fights? Better fights will give you better rewards, higher infamy maybe better rewards to for every match played.

 

1. U should spend sugar only on those weapons u use the most.
2. Choose what's more important, leveling up your crew or ur weapons...If ur weapons are at good level, then go for training crew.
3. Train ur crew as per your load out and ship u are using... Don't rush for getting levelled up...It gets u nothing except more storage space and unlocking ship levels.
These are the 3 steps, that will make u spend sugar wisely.

So you even train crew members that you actually don't need just to keep the crew trainig running? For me it feels like waisting sugar, even if it helps you a little bit on your long way leveling up your captains level

 

Try to plan ahead and think about which crew members you would want to level in the future.

- Swift, Brock will always be worth leveling.
- Most boats will use a Cannon at some point, so Bhurt.
- Speeder, Fixer and Enforcer need Dr Buzzkill.
- Most of the crew members have talents that benefit all boats, eventually you will want to unlock as many of these gain 5% to whatever.

 

No captain is a waste. Trust me. Focus on the captains you want but you can't go beyond a certain level cause it costs more sugar than you can store, at times like these just pick a random underleveled captain and start training

 

and on the plus side the "useless" captains presumably cost low amounts of sugar since they are low levelled (assuming someone doesn't prioritize levelling up a captain he doesn't need)

 

On the downside, they give very less xp
