How does the railgun work?

I have used it a little bit...But I can't understand how it works.... Damage from near is less than damage from far and it shows some percentage when the enemy is near.
Hope someone knows well about it.

 

It has a range you have to be away from the enemy to do full damage. If you get too close and pass that range it will do a % of the full damage which it will say on your screen. The closer you get to an enemy the more that % will decrease.

Should I scrap or keep it?

 

I have seen some players with railguns that can really turn the tide of a match. But I've also seen players who just can use a railgun (they suck with it so bad to the point that I facepalm for it).

So if you know how to use it to it's full potential, then it's really good. (Same can be said about any weapon probably). And if it's a weapon that simply doesn't match your playstyle, just scrap it, even if it's an epic

 

I'd keep it if you have the space. It's great once you level up dr buzz

 

It's so difficult to choose when u have two rare railguns and same for rare Explosive Canon (4 of them) which I don't use at all...I would probably keep them.
Maybe I could think of using them in future.

Rally in and explosive cannon are complete opposites. One you have to be really close and the other you have to be really far. They are both great weapons but I don't really see someone except a shooter use both.

How does a railgun work? Now, you may've learned how to use it.
Can anyone who has a youtube channel upload a video for the same?

Railguns have very high damage per hit, but I'm not able to get a green signal before shooting. It requires ULTRA clear line of sight: not even minor waves. I even go to the top of the wave, but the other person is partially behind the next wave (which I can see, but railgun cannot).
It's useless in a high waves environment.

Does it have unlimited range?
What is the minimum damage when hit: 50%?

 

It has a range of 40
Minimum damage when hit, can go even lower than 50% like......10% 5% or even 1%

 

One more question: does it have an explosive splash effect. I may've felt like some other person got a railgun shot and I also got damage. My this perception may be wrong.
