How do you spend your salt?

Hi all,

I have no trouble managing my gold and find it quite easy as you can buy resources if it's getting to close to the cap. I do have difficulty trying to effectively manage my salt though where I tend to delay gameplay in order train my crew. This is to help take big chunks out of my salt supply, otherwise I reach capacity quickly.

As a discussion, how do others manage their salt?

Any ideas whether there is going to be an option to switch between gold or salt for purchases in the future?

Heads up, It's Sugar, not Salt. I clicked on this thinking it was going to be a funny post about what to do when you're salty after losing.

To answer your question simply: Don't worry about it! Being capped on Sugar isn't a big deal as you will earn way more than you can spend it on at early levels. Just make sure there's always a crew member training to level your captains badge. Keep playing games to earn Gold which I tend to be constantly low on as you should be buying Uncommon and Rare parts from the shop whenever they're available to upgrade your weapons.

yeah, when I first started, I was capped out and couldn't spend my sugar fast enough. Now, I'm honestly battling just so I can get more in order to continue to train my crew. when you need 100k sugar to train up a crew member or 50k sugar to upgrade a weapon, you'll understand quickly that capping out isn't a bad thing. hope that helps.

 

i spend sugar on crew upgrades and my gold for 5k common weapons, immediately scrapping them for a chance of a rare part.
