HOW DO I ADD FRIENDS WITH IPAD and BATTLLE LOCALLY?

My friends and I just installed the game, but so far we are only able to click as if we only have a tutorial version. Can anyone assist us on adding friends and hosting a game locally with 4 people? Thanks!

 

Uh I am pretty sure its all the same with Ipad as phone. Hav eu tried deleting the game and restarting or something.

As far as I know, their is no local options. However, there is a very flexible "custom battle" option. You can host one and add up to 9 of your friends in a sandbox match!
Just open up the menu in the top left corner and choose the custom battle option.
To add friends just go to their profile and send them a friend request. The easiest way to find profiles is to search them up through the player ID (found on every profile)

That sounds like it would work, but since I’ve started the game, I’m not able to choose any menu...I can play in tutorial mode only. See attached screenshot - this big green arrow tells me what to push and I can’t push anything else.

Try completing the tutorial if you haven’t already, and reinstalling the app if that doesn’t work.

 

You were right, I had to complete the tutorial.
