How about this balancing guys

I'm one of 5500+ infamy player and lover of this game.

I think these needs a nerf
* Grenade - projectile speed -10%
* Tesla shield - increase cooldown at least 5 seconds or more. Just only needed this.
* Mine - increase cooldown at least 3 seconds or more. It makes a game be loose now

I think these needs a buff
* carronade - more damage or dcrease ammo spread
* canon - it needs some special buff. For instance, each 3rd hit to the target are getting more damage(twice)
* mortars - increase projectile speed or buff frost items. Now some mortars are really sucks. Especially std mortar. Increase frost bolts cooldown and decrease projectile speed then roll back the nerf. And nerf frost effect around 15%
* gear lube, rudder - add item synthesizing system only for blues. For instace, turbo+rudder has a half effects from each items
* repair box launcher - increase projectile speed +20%. It really sucks now

Only few people can figure out that that flare buff is not a buff. Most of flare shots doesn't do whole damage. The targets are usually dead before that.
And it beacome more low dps, it's gonna be esay to be fixed.

 

I agree with the OP aside from the parts about flare, cannon and grenade. Would rather nerf blast cannon than grenade. And carronade only needs buff in top end.

And lol @ViscountSniffit thats a lot of fire, poor defender

I think blast is good but not a OP. It needs combo seriously. If the BC were OP, all of shooters would use them. But it's not

 

Now my long answer:

• Grenade is good, no need to nerf that. It's one of the most skilled weapon, really difficult to hit fast-moving targets (or the ones that know how to ride waves) with great damage, if crit.
• Your Tesla Shield nerf idea is bad, single Tesla Shield doesn't need to be nerfed.
• Mines idea is ok, I personally don't have problems with them tho, wouldn't mind 3 more seconds to cooldown even if I used it (I have T4 epic, don't like it that much still).
• Carronade shots spread decrease is a great idea.
• Your cannon idea would basically make it a weaker sniper cannon.
• Mortars idea definitely needs to be implemented, few talents at the end of Mortimer that add speed would be awesome.
• Frost needs buff badly.
• Lube/ruddee idea is interesting, those items definitely needs to be reworked.
• Repair box launcher idea is good, the item is underused.
• I still don't see how it is a flare nerf. Nobody uses that for damage, and you want to make target vulnerable to fire bonus damage for longer time. I dontd like the idea.

Some ideas you listed I would like to be implemented, but people, as myself at the first look, will only see the bad ideas

 

Hi enforcer. I'm an enforcer too. Grenade is my favourite weapon and i've been using it for 6 months in high level nightmare. So i can tell grenade is a OP. Don't tell me you want hit a speeder with it. It's a greed.
Grenade is usable in almost all situations. And with t5 epic, it can damage over 2000 usually with no combo. And easy to hit. Cus it has so good projectile speed.
And 25s cooldown TS is still good compared to other yellows.

 

I'd much rather see a flare nerf.
I think grenades are perfect.

 

In this game there are more crucial issues to solve at this time.

1 League Rewards, the Rewards of Event left behind the League rewards.
2 Seal Clubber Events
3 Buff Defender

I just wanted TS's counter weapon. Flare doen't breaks shields since hp perk appeared. I'm one of anti dbl bubble enforcer.

Do you think that that is good enough? With that range demerit?

@Fin- your suggestions seem to custom made for your benefits. Yes, I am in NM.

IMO, flare is the best weapon high end due to it's a point and shoot weapon. It's a 1-point weapon that does 1800hp, can pop most bubbles, block heal 30%, and got the fire damages. What more do you want from a weapon that only has 11 seconds cooldown?

5s TS nerf hurts speeder much more than DB Enfo. Carronade is fine as is. I think grenade is fine but I don't use it.

Mortars need a lot of buffing at end game, especially standard mortar. Cannon does too.

Best box buff is increase it crit %. Felix is stacked and 10 of the 15% in the tree is not much of an option. I recommended sometime back to let box counter fire by removing fire. Flare counter heal so it's not that bad to have box counter it. No need to get into Firebomb.
