Over the past couple of weeks I've noticed the amount of shots that hit on target but don't register damage has increased dramatically. You can see your shots hitting on target but the damage NEVER applies. I can tell when there is a bit of lag and the shots take time to register. You normally see massive chunks of the enemies health disappear all at once. I've seen it on my own boat at times. I feel like the population of the game has grown dramatically but the servers have not scaled to accommodate the increase in traffic. I dont know what they would need to do to alleviate this but i assume some more consistent server maintenance should be in order.

The servers are more than fine. The lag you are seeing is coming from your own internet connection. If the lag has gotten worse recently I'd recommend to contact your ISP.

right because my 75 down/15 up connection is the issue lmao. None of my pc or ps4 MP games experience these type of hitreg issues. I play almost entirely on my home wifi connection.

Do you have other things running on your wi-fi? Have you run a speed test on your network to see if it runs properly via wi-fi? Is your network running security protocols which play nicely with your phone/tablet? There are a hundred things that could be causing the issue on your end other than "not paying for a good enough connection." I only have very limited issues, even playing via cellular network, so I can't imagine that all these issues you're reporting are caused server side.

The speed of your internet connection does not guarantee your connection or WiFi to be stable. I can't say for certainty where the issues is but I know it's not on the server side.

Are you running any Bluetooth devices? Many phones and tablets share the same chip for WiFi and Bluetooth, and a burst of BT traffic can cause significant lag spikes in the WiFi. Or perhaps there's someone poaching your wireless. Changed the passcode lately? ;)
