High performance networking

    i've been trying all day to open the app, but I keep on getting the "your provider does not sipport high performance networking" but my data connection works fine. How do I solve this?

    I think it might help to say they aren't just telling you that; they really do know. Every time you connect to a server, they can quite easily determine your method of doing so.

    I would write them off that quickly.

    Argh, I meant to say "WOULDN'T". Can't seem to edit posts on this Vanilla Forum eh? :<

    So, for the sake of not making this double post a complete waste... I ran a quick test by trying to log in on a 2G hotspot, which should be approximately 225 Kbps if I remember correctly (I don't mind being proven wrong of someone wants). I logged in and ran a match without any problems whatsoever. If I can play a match with no visible signs of latency on 2G, Rovio's netcode must be glorious!

    On top of that, someone mentioned in the previous thread that they had the problem in the Phillipines. The Phillipines is one of the less developed countries in the domain (pun intended) of Internet infrastructure, so I would not be surprised at all if there are some service providers with issues like that.

    All in all, I really don't think it's Rovio's fault.
