As we all know, the guild rivalry aspect of Battle Bay is one of the most rewarding, yet infuriating parts of the game. A new rivalry every week following straight on from the last has become more of a chore (to me and a few of my guildmates at least) than a fun part of the game.
With that in mind, this is my proposal for a bit of a re-work.
Instead of guild rivalries starting straight after one another, my proposal is to have a week on, week off system. For example - Week 1 is rivalry week. Week 2 theres no rivalry (maybe another competitive game mode??) Week 3 is another rivalry week, etc etc.
For this idea to work, the quests should be a little harder than they are now, but the rewards should be higher to reflect that. For example, Board 1 in the new system would give equivalent rewards to Board 2 in the current system, and so on in that pattern.
I think this would make the rivalries more competitive, as there's time between for people to upgrade their items etc (and maybe hand over cold hard cash to do it!)
This may also address the infamy drop issue that people have experienced due to using less powerful weapons for quest purposes.
Anyone else think this could work? Or am I crazy lol?!

    why do u wanna know?
if theres a rest week some people might stop playing simply because theres no major goal but like you said if there was something else on things might change...idk

If you want to take a break, you arent forced to play ;)
For me the weekly raffle board has been key for me farming large amount of parts and legendary pieces to upgrade my gear.
If I want to take a break I can, but wanting to earn tokens and having no guild quests would be more infuriating than what we have now.
Unless of course the other event was similar in the fact you still earned parts / pieces as well as having fun, that would work also.

Very true, not forced to play at all but the same old grind week in, week out gets boring quite quickly imo, and I know we've lost members of the guild due to it (and the matchmaking, but theres already a billion +7 threads on that already)
The raffles are a hell of an addition to the game, no denying that at all - but folks going into battle with under leveled items/boats just for a few tokens is causing a few people I've spoken to become caught up in the anti-tanking system. My idea may help to mitigate that, by allowing people to level up in the weeks off (and yes, I know all weapons count towards the weapon quests, but the 10x contribution for specific weapons can be enticing!)
Yep, and as to your last point Ash, thats my idea - hopefully the new update brings a new game mode or something which can be utilised in the off-weeks in the rivalry. Or even get the winners from week 1 to duke it out in a special rivalry in week 2 (best of the best type of thing)
