Tell me how it's fair for us to be in competition against guilds ranked sub 1000 when we are ranked above 3500.... Last week was worse so we didn't even try! 10 minutes in and they already had 4 quests done... This just isn't even fun anymore :( Capture+_2018-03-07-10-39-13.png Capture+_2018-03-07-10-39-02.png

Same here. No chance at getting 1st place now.

Matchmaking does not count your infamy rank. It counts you # of quests
What about a high infamy F2P guild?
and it’s unhealty to rely on only rivalry rewards for guild tokens.

Rovio has put into place a system where every guild will have an average finish position of 3.5. Your success comes at the detriment of your guild rivalry the following week. I am not sure what the point of guilds are anymore. Everyone should just start their OWN one man guild, if I wasn't the Captain of my guild I would have already left and just become a one-man guild. Since we were undefeated for the first 18 weeks of guilds, we barely can get third place anymore since we now have to face guilds with much higher infamy and can complete weapons quests faster. If we were facing guilds of the same infamy and losing, I would tip my hat to those guilds. But we far outperform any guilds of similar infamy, so our success has led to our downfall.

Starting a 1-man guild means that you will receive far less tokens each week from quests. If you want to put in the absolute minimum amount of effort for your tokens, then go ahead. But the rest of us that actually enjoy playing this game will continue to complete quests as our main source of tokens.

I wasn't referring to infamy rank when I made this post. We only did 30 quests last week and came in dead last in rivalry. Tell me how that merits going against guilds that did almost 10 more quests than ours...

And we don't RELY on the tokens but it would be nice to at least stand a CHANCE of winning more than 1000 every week

I think it takes into account your highest quest completion rate, at least to some extent.

Not so sure about that. I think in a guild by myself I could complete the first two quest boards(24 total quests) in a week especially when I can buy more 5x boosts since I won't be buying boosts for the whole guild.

    Here's the math:
*One Man Guild Completing 24 quests*
Quest Board 1: 12K(from quests) + 12K(from quest contribution since I will be doing it all myself) + 12K(from clearing board 1) = 36K Tokens
    Quest Board 2: 15K(from quests) + 12K(contribution) + 12K(clearing board 2) = 39K Tokens
    1st Place Finish: 41K Tokens
    Total weekly tokens: 116K tokens

*Full 25 Man Guild that completes 48 quests*
    Board 1: 12K + 480(since contribution is being split between 25 guild members) + 12K= 24,480
    Board 2: 15K + 480 + 12K = 27,480
    Board 3: 18K + 480 + 12K = 30,480
    Board 4: 21K + 480 + 12K = 33,480
    Last Place in rivalry: 1K
    Total Weekly Tokens: 116,920 Tokens

Maybe some weeks I don't get 1st place as a one-man guild, but as a full 25 man squad, we can't do any better than 3rd, and a lot of us can't play any more than we do.
As a one-man guild I will be saving TONS of pearls for the slight reduction in tokens gained, because when I buy any 5x boosts or 2x boosts, I will only be buying for myself. I don't have to buy boosts for the whole guild anymore.

This is just a theory but after doing the specific math, this isn't looking like a bad idea.

Alright go ahead buddy. However you also forgot to calculate the crazy increase in time that would be required to complete those quests every week. Oh, yea.. and the fact that after 1 week of this you’d be matched against 5 other full guilds that complete that many quests every week.

So your little theory would last for 1 week.

Let me add.... I would be fine to make matchmaking based on infamy and quests completed. That would be fair from both sides. But it’s really not as bad as y’all are making it seem. Doing quests is still by far the best way to get rewards. Basically for free.

You are basically making his point. Hard work and extra effort doesn't lead to extra rewards in the current rivalry system.
