Guild invite ability questions/advice?

    Hi guys, sorry if this has been raised before ive looked and can't find anything under faq, some of the members of the guild I belong to are asking why they can't seem to invite new members, they say they've never seen the invite buttons, is it because they aren't guild officers? I have noticed myself that some profiles don't have an invite to guild, is that because they are captains?
    Also, what's the best protocol regarding promoting? Just a couple of guild officers or promote more as they contribute more? Thank you for reading and your input .
