Grenade Launcher Tooltip

    Howdi,

    Not sure if a bug or just needs a re-wording. The Grenade Launcher has a 10% crit chance as standard with a description to say it will "Sometimes set enemies on fire for 5 seconds"

    The grenade perks state "% to the chance of the grenade setting the target on fire". The Application of the perk then boosts your crit chance % which isn't what the perk says.

    I don't use grenade so I'm sure someone else might clarify, is the burn effect applied on shots that are RNG or does it only apply on crits. The Perk and what you see when it's applied give very different interpretations i.e.

    • Does it have a % chance on any shot (Crit or Non)?
    • Does it only apply on crit?
    • Is it boosting your crit and still retaining the RNG to ignite?
    TL : DR - I don't know how Grenade Launcher and its perks work.

    It's chance to set on fire and the perks increase that chance

    A burn shot from a grenade, is what is considered a crit with the grenade launcher.
    You cannot get crits without setting fire, or set fire without crits, they are one in the same :)
