The moment you open an uncommon crate and get 2 uncommon items and a rare powercell and Battle Bay telling you that its "Great!"
Honestly, I havent done a lot of complaining on this forum and have supported BB cause I love this game.
But this really irks me though. Not only is that collection absolutely "Not great!" but its also potentially worse than "Good!" because that rare item you just got in the form of a stinkin powercell is literally worthless and I wonder if its a substitute for another potentially less worthless rare item...
The shop system and reward system and quest/mission system leaves a lot to be desired, and that's fine. But let's set expectations with users better than this.
In over 7000 games, I've never once needed a powercell that I didnt have. Which makes this item literally worthless.
I just read that BB brings in about $11k/day on average, which is shockingly low compared to what I expected. Especially given the insane amount of Legendary weapons Ive seen on 1500 infamy ships.
I think if this game was given the type of attention it probably needs by Rovio, it could be doing 10x that amount.

The texts shown when opening boxes are just based on the rarity of the loot you get compared to the guaranteed rarity. If you get one rarity better it's "Great", two is "Amazing", three is "Fantastic" and four is "Spectacular". It's just a way to indicate you got lucky. So, if you get a rare item from common box it's "Amazing!" but from a premium box it doesn't say anything because it was to be expected.

In general it's a pretty good advice to no believe everything you read from the internet.

    Mikka,
Thank you for your response, had I known you were reading this I would've been nicer :)
I understand how the feedback relates to contents of the containers, I just think its a bit hyperbolic. Actually, juuust about everytime I open a crate I'm disappointed, so the words 99% of the time just dont make sense. On other threads, powercells and uncommon/common items are referred to as garbage and filler. Which especially hurts when users pay lots of $$$$ hoping to get even a single decent item out of it.
As far as revenue goes, I would have no idea how that report was sourced and totally agree, its probably not accurate. The only thing I wanted to suggest is that whatever the success is, users are spending FAR more on this game than any game that I've ever heard of (I can at least speak about my experience). I know that I'm definitely low-range as far spending on this game goes, although I've shelled out more for this than any app ever... My only point is that if you reduce the disappointment factor by just a bit, that alone would create enough good experiences to generate so much more...
I think the same feedback could apply to sugar and gold distribution. I'm pretty much always maxed out on sugar, never need it. Gold though, doesn't get you that far. I've had over $2M in reserves for a couple weeks now and its just INSANELY difficult to advance your items.
But again, this is 1% of my total feedback for the game. As a developer, you and your team deserve corner offices :) Really, its easy to be anonymous and negative on forums, but this is probably my favorite mobile game ever and have told everyone I know about it. Thank you for your creativity and for giving the world Speeders.

I doubleclick those boxes to prevent the disappointment.

An epic powercell is worth exactly the same as a common one, I cannot Imagine a scenario where either will ever be a limiting factor (for me anyway). Even if I found duplicates to all my epic item today I would still have a spare supply.
