    I've seen this glitch a lot of times even before the update. I think gearscore takes a while to refresh or something happens. It is just too dangerous with the matchmaking from the event.

    Yeah gear score just takes a while to change (on our side) when he switches his gear from one boat to another. Don’t worry though, the matchmaking gets it right for the events and it’ll show the correct value after a bit.

    Also perks are worth quite a lot. My Rare L50 Blast is better then my Epic L35 Blast (higher base damage), both have 3 perks attached, yet the Rare has a much lower gearscore, because one of the perks is Rare.
