Gatling Gun - weapon type

    I looked for the info, but could not locate it in any prior threads.
    Do we know what weapon type the Gatling Gun is? Cannon? Point weapon? No category like the flare gun?
    If it is a no category weapon like the flare gun it actually makes sense from a game logic perspective for it to ignore defense, but then based on the same logic the Caronade would need to do the same.

    I would assume it's a point weapon / canon. The no Defense thing is fairly unique to the item.

    It is 100% not a cannon, might be a point damage weapon though. Caronade has its own special feature, it slows the enemy, and you can unload everything in 1 shot. Gatt takes forever to unload, has no special feature except ignoring defense.

    Gatling Gun is a Point Damage weapon for receiving damage boosts from talents, but it is not a Cannon for perk compatibility.

    Flare Gun is a Point Damage weapon for its initial impact only; the damage-over-time is Incendiary Damage - which also ignores Defense.

    So it kind of makes sense that Gatling talents are under Burnice, in a twisted sort of way. ;)

    I believe each individual carronade projectile deals point damage.

    I don't mind the weapon as a close range one, but anything past close quarters - the zoom kills me.

    Could the Devs please put a toggle option for this in the item description? I think I would use the weapon more if I could turn that auto zoom off.
