Forum members: Help cure cancer

Members of Battle Bay forum, cancer is a serious issue. Many of you probaly donate money to help treat cancer but we can do more...while we sleep.

There is an app called dreamlabs which uses your phones/tablets computing power to perform calculations on your device while charging (and likely sleeping) and sends them back to a research centre.

If you think this is impossible, there are many similar apps on laptops which do the same.

Although your single devices efforts many be small, combined we can help speed up cancer research.

First of all, I believe advertising outside apps / services on this forum is not allowed. Secondly, you didn't explain what are those millions of calculations needed in "cancer research".

But I did some quick research of my own and it appears to be legit after all. So apparently it's not a mining scam or anything. But I suggest you read the info yourself from official Vodafone source.

That still doesn't change the fact that advertising outside apps is not allowed here.

 

You have a point. But the forum rules don't mention it. I guess it's an unspoken rule that advertisement threads get locked.

And sorry, I'll go into more detail next time.
