Fleet Notification While Playing

I apologize if this has already been brought up.

It would be really nice to get a notification of a fleet request while playing, or at least between matches. I love the implementation of being able to jump from match to match, without having to go to the main screen every time, but I miss out on fleet requests while doing so.

Is this being addressed in future patches?

There has been more than one thread on this, below is mine. No Developer has spoken up on this, and unfortunately that's par for the course. I would have to believe, in my heart, that it will be addressed at some point. To me it's a high priority usability feature that needs to be addressed ASAP.

Brought this up the day the update came out, hoping they could do a quick bug fix.
It’s such a hassle to return to main screen, especially for older devices(~20seconds and sometimes even crashes the game).
No comment from devs were given.

Bug fixes (or severe usability issues) like this deserve a quick patch. It's been, what, 2 months of silence?
