    Maybe a first person game mode would be more popular than a first person camera. Since using it would make the game harder :D

    Whilst it would be cool, first person viewers would be at such a disadvantage to other players that I don’t think it would be used.

    The current view offers the benefits of being able to see over waves, see torps, see over small walls.
