Fire Bomb, and plates.

    For a while I've been meaning to get some sort of damage combo going, and for a shooter that basically means fire + some cannon.
    I'm finally starting to rack up enough fire bombs to level up, but I've noticed that the skill tree for fire bomb is largely incompatible with big plates.

    I need all the armour I can get, and regularly finish matches with a couple of hundred (or even sub 100) hitpoint left.
    Not to mention that when I'm put in matches with the insane 4500+ nightmare players (I'm currently around 3400) I'm sometimes hit for basically my entire HP (ex: a firegun + epic t5 / leg ex-cannon combo shot).

    I know many of you use fire bombs, do you sacrifice your plate talents for them?
    Or are they still viable without the extra bonuses for damage and cooldown?

    Most people use them for the dmg buff, so focus on the duration perks/training. You should be able to keep most of your sheild talents tho

    i train the firebomb skills, because as a fixer can only use standard shield if i want turbo
