Explosive cannon damage against burning targets.

    When I hit two burning enemies (or an obstacle with burning enemy nearby) with my EC only the enemy I directly hit gets increased damage (burning enemy near an obstacle doesn't get increased damage too).
    Compared to mortairs and torps (against frozen enemies) both burning enemies(or the burning enemy near an obstacle) should've got increased damage.
    @Miika @Zeus Is it a defect or a part of EC mechanics?

    That would make it insanely op when coupled with firebomb or napalm

    Nobody says that torps or mortairs are insanely OP when coupled with frost launcher.
    That is absolutely same mechanics so it should work absolutely same way.

    Not really, EC is a point weapon with marginal AOE, while torps and mortars are indirect fire that are only AOE

    But there is certain description in perks and talents: "All cannons deal X% more damage to targets that are burning". There are no exeptions about EC AoE damage.

    what I meant was that one could cause a lot of damage to a lot of unfriendlies, by firebombing a group and then splash damage with EC , especially if there are fire perks loaded. Frost launcher just freezes without causing damage, even if there are freeze perks loaded. therefore I think FB + EC would cause a lot more damage than freeze + mortar/torps
